4G WorldSIM with Alphatronics

This SIM card allows you to connect a UNii panel, using a UNii 4G mobile expansion module, to UNii Online, mySmartControl or a ARC via a mobile network.

GETTING STARTED

  1. Simply link the SIM via the platform.
  2. Click the '+' icon to link the SIM to your account.
  3. Enter the ICCID number, which is listed on the back of the SIM.
  4. Confirm the ICCID number.
  5. Select the Alphatronics bundle for the SIM.

A final pop-up window will appear confirming that the SIM has been successfully added to the account. To check the SIM, go to the "IoT/SIMs" section of the menu.

  1. Look up your SIM in the overview and "Pre-activate" the SIM before you go to the customer location so that it is ready for use. Once the SIM actually starts sending data, it will start invoicing. If you wish to activate the SIM immediately, click the "Activate" button.

INSTALL UNII 4G MOBILE EXPANSION

Make sure the UNii panel is connected to your laptop via Ethernet.

  1. The UNii panel should be disconnected from power.
  2. Insert the SIM card into the UNii 4G mobile expansion module.
  3. Apply power to the UNii panel.
  4. Using the UNii Manager software, connect to the UNii panel and retrieve the configuration.
  5. In the "Settings/Mobile Network" menu, set Roaming to "Allowed".
  6. In the "Settings/Mobile Network" menu, enter the SIM APN information. APN: internet.csliot.com / Private APN: m2m.csles.com (user and password should be left blank).
  7. In the "Settings/Mobile Network" menu, set the mobile network to "Active".
  8. Save the settings made in steps 5, 6 and 7 above.
  9. The SIM registers in the network. You can check this in menu "Diagnosis/Overview" under "Mobile Network".
  10. After registration, the UNii 4G mobile expansion module is ready to use.

TROUBLESHOOTING

UNii 4G mobile expansion module - It is important that the installation instructions have been carried out correctly.

SIM card - Check that the SIM card is inserted correctly into the UNii 4G mobile expansion module.

SIM does not register online - Make sure you have followed steps 5 and 6 (as above).

Mobile network - Use the CSL Signal Analyser to determine if there is a suitable mobile signal in the area. If the device still does not register with a network, contact CSL Support.
