The Electronic Security Systems and Fire Detection & Alarm Systems Competition results have now been revealed.
The recent WorldSkills UK National Finals for the Electronic Security Systems and Fire Detection & Alarm Systems Competitions took place in Barking and Dagenham College, London. The winners for both competitions were recently announced at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards in London. CSL's Founder and Chairman of Skills for Security, Simon Banks, revealed the winners and welcomed them both on to the stage to receive their £1,000 cash prize.
Electronic Security Systems Winners:
1st - Tomas Pavilonis - Trelawney Fire and Security - The Focus Training Group
2nd - Cody Moody - ViS - Belfast Metropolitan College
3rd - Gianluca Mori - Banham Security - Banham Academy
Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Winners:
1st - Alexander Wallace - Building Protection Services - South Eastern Regional College (SERC)
2nd - Owen Nelson - EFT Systems - Skills For Security
3rd - Callen Logan - Connelly’s Security Systems - Skills For Security
CSL are proud to be an ongoing sponsor of both competitions, as well as a long-standing stakeholder of the Engineers of Tomorrow Competition - the semi-finals of WorldSkills UK. Both competitions are aimed to tackle the shortage of skills in these sectors whilst providing young people with the chance to develop their tangible experience to aid future employability. We want to say a massive well done to all the winners and congratulate them on the high level of performance on display last week!
