IFSEC Global has named Simon Banks as the leading influencer for Commercial Security.
Earlier this month, IFSEC Global revealed the coveted list of influencers in Security and Fire 2020. Chosen based on nominations and judged by a panel of highly respected judges, the influencers span seven categories, with nominees and winners coming from across the globe.
Simon founded CSL in 1996 and continues to be heavily involved in the business. He is also Chairman for the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) a board member of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and BAFE.
Starting his career in our sector as an apprentice, Simon’s work in championing skills and training has seen him recognised by his peers for this prestigious title. He founded Apprentices for Fire and Security in 2011 which has placed thousands of apprentice engineers within the security sector and also represents the security manufacturers for the Government’s Trailblazer framework.
Everyone at CSL is delighted for Simon to have received this recognition, having played such a key role within the industry for over 25 years.
