CSL is delighted to congratulate the winners of the WorldSkills UK 2024 competitions in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and Electronic Security Systems, where outstanding apprentices demonstrated their exceptional technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Alongside other leading organisations, CSL is proud to sponsor the WorldSkills UK finals, which were held at Wigan & Leigh College, showcased the abilities of 16 talented individuals, each competing in real-world scenarios designed to reflect industry standards.
Fire Detection & Alarm Systems WInners:
Gold - Dominic Glater (DCA Security Systems – Skills for Security)
Silver - Tristan Houghton (Chubb Fire and Security – Training 2000)
Bronze - Sam Alsey (ProActive Fire Solutions – Skills for Security)
Electronic Security Systems Winners:
Gold - Luke Kendall (Plymstock Security Systems – The Focus Training Group)
Silver - Andrew Mullen (Vault Systems – New College Lanarkshire)
Bronze - Joseph Laney (KBO Fire & Security – Skills for Security)
Skills for Security, the Organising Partner of the competition, played a central role in creating the event, which tested competitors with rigorous tasks designed to reflect the high standards of the security industry.
