Emizon is the ‘always on’ alarm signalling and CCTV monitoring service designed specifically for digital networks. A secure dual-path service in which all messages are continuously monitored end to end, from the TCD to the 24 hour response centres. Because all messages are managed over both fixed and wireless networks, service resilience levels of 99.99% or better can be achieved – surpassing the highest industry standards. Emizon is available as a Grade 2, 3 and 4 service. The Grade 4 service has been tested and passed to LPS.1277 v2.2 by BRE/LPCB for compliance with the highest Grade 4 EN signalling standards.
The TCD uses outbound TCP/IP connections only, via the landline IP (Ethernet) and the GPRS IP networks. The TCD does not accept inbound connections and does not require any inbound IP ports to be opened on a customer firewall / router. GPRS connectivity is established via a private network connection (APN), and no internet connectivity is possible via GPRS in the TCD. No connectivity exists between the GPRS IP and landline IP networks in the TCD and no IP bridging is permitted between the networks in the TCD. The TCD also contains an internal firewall to isolate the the TCD from any unauthorised connections or IP traffic.
European standards classify intruder alarm systems into four grades, grade 4 being the highest, based on skills, tools and the determination likely to be used by criminals at each level of risk. The standards that cover the equipment and performance standards are covered under PD6662:2004 & tables 10 and 11 of prEN50131- 1:2004.
