The instructions below outline the installation process to enable DualCom GradeShift®/DigiAir® UDL with a
Risco LightSYS Panel:

How to enable UDL:

• Go into “Programming”, “Menu” and press “1, 1, 1, 1, OK”
• Go to “System”, then “Controls” and “Communication”
• Check that “CS Enable = Y” and select “Enable the Configuration Software”
• Go to “Communication” then “Method”, “PSTN” and “Parameters”
• Change “Rings to Answer” to “01”
• Go to “Communication” then “Config SW”, “Security” and “Remote ID”
• Change from “0001” to “0000”
• Once completed, exit “Programming” by pressing “Menu, Menu, Menu, 0, OK” How to Enable ARC:
• Go into “Programming”, “Menu” and press “1, 1, 1, 1, OK”
• Go to “System”, then “Controls” and “Communication”
• Check that “ARC Enable = Y” and select “Enable the ARC Communication”
• Go to “Communication” and select “ARC”
• For Report Type “ARC1” select “VOICE” then “PSTN Only” then enter “01” for the phone number
• For Report Type “ARC2” select “VOICE” then “PSTN Only” then enter “01” for the phone
  number
• For “Comm Format” select “Contact ID” or “SIA”
• If using “SIA”, select “Controls”, “SIA with Part” and change to “Y”
• If using “SIA”, select “Controls”, “SIA with Text” and change to “Y”
