ECHO is a fully-automated, electronic alarm transmission service between connected ARCs, Police Forces and suppliers. It aims to improve accuracy and efficiency when responding to alarms from monitored devices. It will replace all signals sent by outdated telephone call handler services. The changes have already begun, with many ARCs already connected and others soon to follow. CSL has assisted in the initiative throughout and is an ECHO Platform Integrator.
It is estimated that end-users with alarm systems connected to ECHO can expect an improved response time of up to 4 minutes.
ECHO is compatible with Radio and IP products, and won't be impacted by the UK's Telephone Network Upgrade Project (All IP).
ECHO is supported by leading industry Inspectorates and Trade Associations including BAFE, BSIA, FSA, NSI & SSAIB.
All our alarm signalling products are ECHO-ready and will automatically utilise the ECHO platform without any additional installation requirements.
