Who Are CSL Looking For?
CSL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business and technology and be able to translate complex business requirements into innovative and effective solutions.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for analysing, designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with business goals and technical strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of systems design, application development, and enterprise architecture principles, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business, product and technology teams to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Work with business analysts, product, developers, and project managers to deliver solutions.
- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical and business objectives.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to balance business needs and technical feasibility.
Solution Design and Development
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
- Develop end-to-end architecture designs for software, systems, and platforms.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
Technical Leadership
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams during the development and implementation phases.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet project needs.
Integration and Deployment
- Design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and third-party applications.
- Ensure solutions are designed for security, maintainability and long-term sustainability.
Risk and Compliance Management
- Identify and address potential risks associated with proposed solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure technical deliverables meet security standards.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Participate in architectural governance processes to ensure alignment with enterprise strategies.
Key Skills & Qualifications Sought:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar technical role.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Expertise in designing and implementing solutions in relevant technologies, e.g., cloud platforms like Azure, microservices, Salesforce, APIs.
- Hands-on experience with application development, databases, and system integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
