For panels currently supported by the IFAM module, please contact IFAM. The IFAM module is used to translate messages from a panel in to ESPA (V4.4.4) messages and sends them over the RS232 interface to the DualCom Pro. |

IFAM Module Setup
The IFAM module is configured using the configuration tool supplied by IFAM (UPC-Config).
Connect a USB cable between the IFM ADC module and your computer.
Launch the UPC-Config software and it will automatically detect the IFAM ADC module.
Select [Setup] -> [Output Configuration] and configure as shown below
- Protocol: ESPA 4.4.4
- Baud rate: 1200
- Data bits: 7
- Parity: Even
- Stop bits: 2
- Activate ESPA monitoring: Checked. Seconds = 10
- Remote system without Ack response: Unchecked
- ESPA special version: Unchecked
- Master / slave behaviour: “Act as ESPA master”
Create a new receiver and give it a name, for example “ESPA sim 1”.
Set the [Receiver Target: Calling Number] to 21212
Select the Rules and modify as below
Select [File] -> [Write configuration to device]
ESPA to SIA
The recognised ESPA events can be configured via Setup -> Edit code table.
Only the below events are handled/recognised by the DualCom Pro. All other events from the module are acknowledged but not sent as events to the CSL Platform.

Fire Mode
If the DualCom Pro is configured for EN54 fire mode, then ESPA_PANEL_USE_EN54 should also be set to TRUE.
Non Fire Mode
If EN54_FIRE_MODE is set to FALSE and ESPA_PANEL_LOSS_RELAY is set to TRUE, then the relay set by ESPA_SELECT_PANEL_LOSS_RELAY will be used to report to the panel that communications with it has been lost or recovered.
If ESPA_PANEL_LOSS_INVERT_RELAY is set to TRUE, then the selected panel loss relay reporting will be inverted.
